First Little Rock Hostel Brings Tourism Opportunities

by

The Firehouse Hostel and Museum recently opened in downtown Little Rock, Ark., making it the state’s first hostel.

“There are many hostels on the coasts of the US, but few in between. We help bridge the gap,” Greg Hart, president of the Hostelling Arkansas, Inc. Board, said. “More Americans are learning about alternative accommodations and seeking affordable and unique ways to travel. This is perfect timing for bringing this to our community.”

Firehouse is also getting involved in the local community by hosting events, including its “locals only” grand opening, sponsoring Arkansas Peace Week and hosting a voter registration booth.
