As 2016 winds down, we’re all busy coming up with client gifts and clever holiday cards, but we can’t forget about what really matters to clients – our work. It’s vital to wrap up each year by highlighting successes and lessons learned in order to maintain positive relationships and reputations.
Whether it’s a formal keynote or conversational email, we try to establish four things with our clients:
1. Illustrate what was accomplished over the past year
2. Point out what worked and what didn’t
3. Set up high-level goals for the coming year
4. Say “thank you” for their business
