Have Better Meetings

There’s a reason you leave meetings with less energy than when you arrived: Meetings are problem-focused. These meetings are important, but they’re depleting.

It’s important to take time to work together to identify the good things about the organization that staffers value along with the attributes of working there that keep them there. It’s regenerative of those good things and reminds everyone of what the company does well.

For companies going through change, this process is particularly helpful, but I’ve never “met” an organization that couldn’t benefit from reminding everyone within of the good they’re part of every day.
