According to the Northwest Arkansas Council’s analysis of new U.S. Census Bureau population estimates, NWA ranked among the fastest-growing places in the U.S. Estimates show the region should soon be among the 100 largest metros in the nation.
NWA was ranked #14 in its growth rate between July 2016 and July 2017, adding a whopping 34 people per day. The region has witnessed massive investments over the past decade that have spurred population growth, including the construction of Arvest Ballpark, the Razorback Regional Greenway, Walmart AMP, the Scott Family Amazeum and a renovation to Walton Arts Center.
