Over a year after breaking ground, the CHI St. Vincent Arkansas Neuroscience Institute recently held the grand opening of its newly constructed Research and Education Center in Sherwood.
Led by Dr. Ali Krisht, a recipient of the prestigious Herbert Olivecrona Award, the $30 million expansion will work to improve treatment outcomes for patients, map the human brain and provide training for neurosurgeons from around the world to develop the skills necessary to tackle the most complex cases.
The Arkansas Neuroscience Institute currently treats patients from all 75 Arkansas counties, as well as 38 additional states and countries around the world.
