On July 4, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra announced that with the help of people across our state, we have raised $7.1 million dollars through our Orchestrating the Future campaign.
One exciting new program to be funded through this campaign is Sturgis Music Academy, which will provide high-quality musical education for children ages 5-11. The Academy will help children across Arkansas develop confidence, creative thinking skills and a good work ethic to assist their musical and non-musical endeavors.
This campaign is also helping sustain an important cultural organization, and its donors will keep music playing for years.
