The 2017 UALR Artspree Concert Series will kick off Feb. 23 with a performance from the Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet.
The quartet formed in 2002 and took home a Grammy Award in 2011 for Best Chamber Music Performance for their recording of György Ligeti’s complete works for string quartet. Members include violinists Daniel Chong and Ying Xue, violist Jessica Bodner and cellist Kee-Hyun Kim.
The Artspree program is sponsored by the UALR Chancellor’s Circle and KLRE Classical 90.5. The Parker Quartet will be presented by Artspree in collaboration with the Chamber Music Society of Little Rock.
