Arkansas Symphony Orchestra launches new festival

The newest addition to Central Arkansas’s festival scene is Arkansas Symphony Orchestra’s Symphony Local, which accompanies the second concert of the 2018- 2019 Stella Boyle Smith Masterworks season, Elgar’s “Enigma Variations,” Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 11, at Robinson Center.

Symphony Local celebrates local community organizations, arts and crafts, food trucks and brews. Vendors include Lost 40 Brewing, Count Porkula, Adobo To Go, Adams Mobile BBQ and more.

The festival takes place prior to the concert from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00-2:30 p.m. Sunday. Admission is included with a concert ticket.
