A Poll Worker’s Perspective

by

Poll workers: the unsung heroes of elections. Susan Gill will be working the presidential election as chief judge with the PCEC.

“I feel that it’s a civic duty that I can fulfill. It’s an important job,” Gill said. As chief judge, Gill is responsible for picking up and setting up supplies and equipment, as well as assigning roles for her team.

Gill believes the voting process is important and people should take the time to educate themselves on the issues and people on the ballot. “It’s an awesome responsibility to pick those people. Get out there and make your choice.”
