“Hidden Figures” Author Speaking at Clinton Center

New York Times best-seller turned Oscar-nominated film “Hidden Figures” is the story of four African American women who worked for NASA during the 1960s.

On March 23 at 6 p.m. the book’s author, Margot Lee Shetterly, will be speaking and signing books at the Statehouse Convention Center, courtesy of the Clinton School of Public Service. To watch, either reserve seats online or view via live stream.

Shetterly is also founder of The Human Computer Project, a project aimed at recovering names and accomplishments of women who worked at NACA and NASA from the 1930s through the 1980s.
