Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau Gets Involved in Project: Time Off

by Michael Polzella

Did you know Americans left 658 million vacation days unused in 2016? The mission of the U.S. Travel Association’s Project: Time Off is to highlight the importance of downtime. Overall personal well-being, professional success, business performance and economic expansion are results of time off.

The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau is preparing several interactive initiatives to promote the benefits and impact of paid time off. The plans will be announced on Travel Rally Day, the kickoff to National Travel and Tourism Week, at Benny Craig Park on May 8. The event will be open to the public.
