The 2018 Arkansas Woman of Inspiration event benefiting the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas is set for Friday, October 19. This year’s honorees are Shelley McMillon and Rep. DeAnn Vaught, who will receive the Blue Ribbon Award.
The mission of the advocacy centers is to provide a safe, child-friendly environment where law enforcement and child protective professionals can assess and help child victims from around the state. All services are provided at no cost to child victims of abuse and their families.
The dinner will be held at 7 p.m. at the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock.
