Little Rock group to host colon cancer awareness event

Yoga, an exercise method primarily used to sharpen one’s own body and mind, will be a method for helping others next month in Little Rock. Donna Terrell’s Yoga Warriors will be hosting its sixth annual Fighting Colon Cancer event on April 20 at the DoubleTree hotel in downtown Little Rock.

Raffles, door prizes and smoothies from Tropical Smoothie are just a few of the exciting activities on deck for participants with a desire to raise awareness for colon and other cancers. Donna Terrell formed the Yoga Warriors group when her daughter, Queah, was diagnosed with colon cancer in her twenties.
