When I meet people for the first time, the conversation generally goes: “So, what do you do for a living?” “I’m a landscape architect!” “Great! My backyard desperately needs help!”
It’s interesting how nearly everyone lives in the realm of landscape architecture, yet most believe it only applies to their backyard. When you’re not inside a building, you’re in landscape architects’ domain. Our goal is to make these “in-between spaces” more attractive, inclusive and functional.
Next time you’re in Piedmont Park, Mercedes-Benz Stadium or Liberty Plaza, remember much of these outdoor spaces were designed by a landscape architect.
