The Thaden School, an independent school for grades six to 12, will open in August 2017 starting with grades seven and nine.
The school’s goal is to offer challenging curriculum with focuses on sciences and humanities, and three signature programs – wheels, reels and meals – that focus on community engagement and civic responsibility.
Families interested in applying to the school will have the campus master plan available for viewing in January. The 30-acre campus in downtown Bentonville will be designed and constructed, with support of the Walton Family Foundation, by a “nationally renowned team of architects,” according to their website.
