A daily practice for better self-care

We all know the importance of taking care of ourselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. But how do we find time for self-care?

Implement the practice of checking in with yourself daily. Before starting your day, sit quietly and ask yourself how you’re doing. Pay attention to how you feel physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Write down your results.

Repeat this throughout the day, pausing briefly from work to ask yourself how you’re doing. Pay attention to emotions, feelings or sensations that arise. This exercise will increase awareness and self-honesty and give your mind a much-needed rest.
