They’re loud, forceful and relentless – normally not my favorite qualities. But I love waterfalls, and hiking in the woods to view one is always a treat.
Now there’s an app for that, the Official Discover Georgia Waterfalls Mobile App, available on iTunes for the iPhone and iPad. Locate information on more than 50 cascading cavalcades in Dawson, Fannin, Habersham, Lumpkin and Rabun counties in the north Georgia mountains.
The free app also provides information on nearby attractions. I found places we can launch our kayaks on Lake Blue Ridge, a moonshine distillery in Dawsonville and a spa resort in Dahlonega.
