The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Arkansas Department of Parks and Tourism in conjunction with the Alabama Department of Tourism and Travel South USA have created a U.S. Civil Rights Trail featuring 100 historical sites across 14 states. The trail features churches, courthouses, schools and museums that “played a pivotal role” during the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s.

Central High School National Historic site was named in the “Top Ten” list of attractions on the trail. Other Arkansas sites include the Clinton Presidential Center, Daisy Bates House, Mosaic Templars Cultural Center and more.
