Known as a quiet state park, White Oak Lake State Park lets you get out and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Situated less than two hours from Little Rock, the park is most well known for fishing for crappie, bream, catfish and even Florida largemouth bass in the 2700-acre man-made lake. There is also camping, hiking, picnicking, boating and a playground available. Spot abundant wildlife like deer, heron, osprey, and even bald eagles, which are regularly seen by visitors.
To explore the lake, you can rent fishing boats, pedal boats and kayaks, giving you an authentic way to experience the scenery.
