If you mention scones to any Searcy, Ark., local, they’ll be sure to mention Wild Sweet Williams. Lisa Ford has been baking scones and other pastries for small Searcy businesses as a freelance baker for years. On Oct. 28, Ford opened the first storefront for her baking business.
“I’m most excited about the contact and connection with the community that the storefront allows,” Ford said. “We hope to offer a space to people that lifts the spirit and brings a little needed joy to everyone’s day.”
Scones, kolaches, muffins, babka, focaccia and cookies will all be sold in the store.
