A Note From the Regional Recycling Executive Director

Sustainability. There are a number of definitions.

At Pulaski County’s Regional Recycling & Waste Reduction District, we believe sustainability means to conserve for future generations our valuable natural resources through reduction, reuse and recycling. It’s a socio-ecological process, requiring informed participation by household consumers.

As executive director, I, our staff and stakeholders, are committed to the following renewed mission: To inform and challenge local Arkansans to achieve maximum waste reduction, recycling and reuse of consumer goods, resulting in the protection of our shared environment and conservation of resources.

This mission will improve our economic growth and quality of life.
