Buzz around North Little Rock’s Argenta community continues to grow with developments to the Argenta Plaza. Plans and design for the public space were announced in September of 2017. According to Nathan Hamilton, North Little Rock Communications Director, a groundbreaking is expected for late March or early April.

The $4.4 million plaza funding was appropriated by city council in 2017. Most contributions came from the sale of city-owned properties over five years while the rest came from saved capital investment dollars. No new tax dollars will be used.

The neighboring First Orion’s headquarters also begins construction this year.
