‘Creative, clean eating’ in Little Rock

by The 100 Companies

“All inclusive” is the motto at City Silo, a cozy cafe that serves up “conscious comfort food” for all. Owners Rebekah and Scott Tashie, friends since grade school, joined forces to create a responsible restaurant that fosters relationships with local farmers, uses humanely and consciously raised ingredients and engages in recycling and composting.

And then there’s the food, lauded by patrons as fresh and full of flavor. Toasts with inventive toppings (think goat cheese, blueberries and sunflower sprouts atop strawberry jam) are only $5 and the beet walnut burger packed with sun-dried tomatoes, oats, garlic and tamari is a winner.
