Hispanic heritage comes alive in North Little Rock Sept. 16

by The 100 Companies

The third Annual Hispanic Heritage Festival celebrates the independence of nine Latin American countries. Festivities include art vendors, food trucks and entertainment galore at the family-friendly, free event on Main Street.

Kalua’s Paleteria y Botanas will serve up classic Mexican snacks and beverages, from street corn to Mangonada Mexican popsicles and aguas frescas del día – water infused with mango, watermelon and tamarindo. And save room for salsa! For $10, you can sample local salsas and vote for your contest favorite. Then kick back and enjoy Los Sierreños de Little Rock’s live music and watch Ballet Quetzalli dance the day away.
