For more than six decades, the Delta exhibition has been a mainstay at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts – one touted for amplifying “artistic voices in the Mid-South as they reflect complex histories and shifts in the cultural landscape.”
What began as a juried exhibition in 1958 has grown exponentially (more than 1,200 applications were received for 46 spots), a powerful reminder that American art is not monolithic but a chorus of many voices.
Catch the show – deemed a “display of unparalleled creativity and talent, making it a must-see exhibition for art enthusiasts and museumgoers alike” – before it closes Aug. 25.
