While the Keep America Beautiful organization works year-round to beautify communities, April serves as the official celebration as it recognizes national Keep America Beautiful Month.
Since the 1970s, hundreds of businesses, thousands of public officials and millions of volunteers have marked the occasion by improving recycling, ending littering and fighting to Keep America Beautiful.
The nonprofit developed 10 easy ways to #DoBeautifulThings in your community, such as joining the Great American Cleanup, downloading the #cleanYOURblock Party Volunteer Guide and learning how to recycle.
Get inspired this April by following Keep America Beautiful’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for ideas.
