Go green at your office

Going green in the office is a great way to help preserve our natural resources. Businesses have several opportunities to contribute to a better planet.

• Having a recycling center for cans, bottles and cardboard is an easy step to take. You can also add a paper recycling box near your printers. Only print documents if necessary.

• Get rid of paper or Styrofoam in the break room. Encourage your teams to use mugs, glasses, dishes and cutlery instead of disposables.

• Turn off lights in rooms when they’re not in use and replace incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescent lamps or LED bulbs.
