The Central Arkansas Ronald McDonald House, based out of Little Rock, is undergoing the process of building a much larger new home for its families.
The groundbreaking and construction began in July of 2015 with a $1 million gift from the owner-operators of the McDonald’s of Central Arkansas co-op. “For that,” said Janell Mason, executive director of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas, “we name the beacon of hope after them.”
The topping out ceremony in April honored and celebrated the owner-operators and the progress of the construction. The estimated opening date is November of this year.
