Temperatures are dropping, tropical storms are brewing and TV schedules are filled with football, but there’s really just one telltale sign that summer is over: school buses once again fill our city’s streets.
Unfortunately, when many children step off the bus, they stroll into underfunded schools where teachers pay for many of their classroom’s supplies out of their own pockets.
