Little Rock news affiliates KARK and Fox 16 have launched an anti-violence campaign, “Victory Over Violence.” The initiative is a direct response to fatal shootings involving local toddlers.
The campaign’s goal is “to cover crime in a responsible manner focusing on impact, response and solutions,” according to its announcement.
Along with KARK/Fox 16 content, Victory Over Violence will work with community groups and leaders on purpose-driven events. The first, a social media town hall with LRSD, was held on Feb. 7. On March 14, KARK/Fox 16 will participate in a telethon benefitting Women and Children First.
