My two sisters and I are all McDonald’s owner-operators, and as a business owner, I think it is important to recognize that there’s no substitute for hard work and goal-setting.
At my restaurant, I’ve done everything from scrubbing the floors to representing the broader organization, and along the way I have learned finance, personal development, food safety, community engagement and the individual stories and experiences of my staff.
Throughout everything I have encountered, I’ve learned how important it is to stay persistent in chasing your goals. Do not be afraid of a challenge, and be assertive when necessary.
