With a wide range of cultures and famous cuisines around the state, there are many food festivals to satisfy all appetites in Arkansas. Here are a few to look for this year:
• Italian Food and Culture Festival – April 26-28 in Little Rock. Features Italian food and wine, bocce, soccer, grape stomping and a cooking competition.
• BITE NW Arkansas – June 26-28 in Bentonville. Celebrates the area’s best chefs, cuisines, ingredients and restaurants in one big event.
• Cave City Watermelon Festival – July 25-27. Live music, a parade and plenty of the world’s sweetest watermelons are some of the attractions.
