The benefits of working out with a friend

After years of a sedentary lifestyle, I recently made the difficult decision to start working out. Having actively avoided physical fitness since high school, I had no idea where to begin.

I enlisted the help of a friend with much more experience, and the results have been better than I ever imagined. He’s patient, while also pushing me. He guides me, but also gives me my space. Just five weeks in, working out has transformed from a chore to a hobby.

If you’re considering a fitness regimen, I would suggest finding a partner. The results just might surprise you, too.
