Stunning Architecture Shines Through at The Preacher’s Son

by Michael Polzella

Bentonville’s newest restaurant and bar, The Preacher’s Son, will not only stand out for its food and beverages, but for its architecture.

In partnership with FӦDA and SAR, Ropeswing Hospitality Group has renovated a 1904 church into a stunning eatery. The sanctuary has been converted into the main restaurant while the basement has been transformed into a cozy bar, Undercroft, with a separate entrance.

Byzantine and Gothic influences can be seen throughout its structure, but modern touches were added to create a contemporary feel. The furniture, from cocktail tables to the hostess stand, was custom built for the space.
