The Arkansas Arts Center will debut three exhibits in January featuring artists Ansel Adams, Herman Maril and William E. Davis.
Work from Adams and Maril will open Jan. 27. “Ansel Adams: Early Works” highlights the high-contrast landscape photography the artist is known for. “Herman Maril: The Strong Forms of Our Experience” will include oil paintings with Mid-Atlantic-themed subjects from the modernist artist.
Little Rock photographer Davis’ exhibit will open Jan. 24. The collection “Seeing the Essence: Photographs by William E. Davis” will feature 700 original photographic prints.
All exhibits will be available for viewing through April 16.
