The Women’s Foundation of Arkansas was launched in 1998 when two of its founders saw the need for funding dedicated to investing in projects that support women and girls.
In 1999, the first Power of the Purse luncheon was held to announce grants made possible to support these causes. WFA now holds this fundraising event annually to honor accomplished women, announce grants made that year and highlight other WFA programs.
The 2018 Power of the Purse luncheon will be held at the Statehouse Convention Center, September 14, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Get your tickets here.
