As the temperature slowly starts to rise and spring approaches, there’s no shortage of upcoming events in Little Rock. Here are a few to consider in the coming weeks:
• Lanterns Winter Festival: Held from Feb. 15-17, Wildwood Park’s annual festival coincides with the first full moon of the lunar year.
• Little Rock Marathon: The 17th annual event, held March 2-3, includes a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K. There is also a combo challenge that awards runners who finish two races.
• Barkus on Main: This Mardi Gras dog parade on March 31 includes music, beads, gumbo and crawfish.
