In June 2016, Stephanos Mylonas, owner of Mylo Coffee Co., announced the company’s purchase of neighboring Afterthought Bar and Bistro and plans for expansion. Renovations will include added space to the coffee shop, and a new restaurant and concert venue — all to be completed in 2017.
Mylonas says Phase One, the expansion of Mylo, will be completed by February.
“(Phase One) includes an additional seating area for customers and includes a larger, but very important to us, back-of-house area,” Mylonas said. “We anticipate that we’ll be closed for a week during this month to combine the new spaces.”
