Jeff Dailey captures the mission of The Exodus Project.
Rethinking reentry: The Exodus Project is a prison rehabilitation program that teaches ethics, career skills, resource management and drug/alcohol recovery during the last months of an inmate’s sentence.
“As fellow human beings, I think it’s important when we see someone that’s broken by the challenges of life, we’re willing to go help them get up,” said Exodus Project Executive Director Paul Stevens. With a 55 percent recidivism rate, the program aims to give these students -inmates the life skills necessary to build a life after they are released and help them “believe again in the possibility of a future.”
