Rock Town Distillery has reopened at 1201 S. Main Street. The first legal distillery in Arkansas since prohibition is also celebrating eight years in business.
In celebration, lead distiller Phil Brandon created 8th Anniversary Whiskey, a four-year-old, Bottled-in-Bond straight rye whiskey crafted in accordance with the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, which set strict standards for whiskey production.
Whiskey must be made during a single distillation season, by one distiller, bottled at 100 proof, aged in a federally bonded warehouse and at least four years old. This special whiskey is only available at the distillery.
