Food trucks, craft brews and your favorite yard games will be joining Heifer International’s Urban Farm on June 8 for an inaugural event to benefit local small-scale farmers.
“Urban Farm Fest is a new event specifically created to introduce young professionals to Heifer International,” said Amanda Seevers, committee member. “We wanted to create an event that’s both appealing and affordable for this target audience.
“This event is entirely different from Feast in the Field. In fact, the dress code is ‘sneaker casual’ because we want people, 21 years old and over, to come and play at the farm.”
