Suicide claims the lives of 22 veterans in the United States every day. We Are The 22 is working hard to see that number go down to zero.
When the nonprofit receives a call about a veteran in crisis, the Veteran Suicide Response teams go directly to the veteran needing support anywhere in the state. Peer-to-peer in-person intervention, peer escort to VA facilities, and connecting with services for continued support help veterans navigate the unique struggles of those who served.
