While the culinary experience has always been an influential part of the Fayetteville Roots Festival, 2017 will mark the first year world-renowned chefs are added to the lineup. In addition to local chefs, Maricel Presilla, Pecko Zantilaveevan, Justin Carlisle, Digby Stridiron and Sachin Chopra will appear at the festival to prepare food at various events. Famous “foodies” Joe Kwon of The Avett Brothers and P. Allen Smith will attend.
The five-day folk music and food festival will take place across NWA from Aug. 23-27 in various locations, including George’s Majestic Lounge, Crystal Bridges and Brightwater culinary school.
