Ace Glass Construction Corp. invests nearly $4 million into its new facility.
The new operation, located near the Bill and Hillary Clinton airport, will be completely solar-powered. The goal, according to owner Courtney Little, is to design a net-zero-energy facility that will meet LEED platinum standards.
Little said a move and expansion was needed for the facility, previously located in the East Village.
“The character of the East Village is changing and we needed more space as we’ve moved into more manufacturing and started our glass recycling company. It made sense to buy bigger property,” said Little.
