The holidays may be the most wonderful time of the year, but the countdown is usually packed with shortened deadlines for everything. Managing deadline stress during this time is key to enjoying your holidays.
Don’t overschedule yourself because you think you can get it all done. Plan ahead and create a to-do list. Look at the tasks and ask yourself, “Is this a high-level priority that will negatively impact my good standing at work, or can it wait?”
If it can’t wait, break down the task into a series of smaller tasks so you can stay on track.
