ASO set to present casual concert

by
Beethoven and Blue Jeans

Keep those black ties and dresses in the closet for the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra’s upcoming Beethoven and Blue Jeans performance April 13 and 14 at the Robinson Center.

Led by conductor Phillip Mann and violinist Gareth Johnson, the concert will include the works of Camille Saint-Saens, Maurice Ravel, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, George Enescu and of course, Ludwig van Beethoven.

In addition to the Saturday night and Sunday afternoon acts, Beethoven and Blue Jeans also features a street party. Anyone with a ticket to one of the performances is encouraged to attend the event, which includes bratwursts, beer and live entertainment.
