A 45-minute free guided tour of highlights from the exhibition is available to patrons.

“Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power” makes its U.S. debut at Crystal Bridges. Featuring the work of 60 artists, the exhibit shines a light on the vital contribution of black artists to an important period in American history and art through paintings, sculptures, street photography and murals.

Developed by the Tate Modern in London, “Soul of a Nation” examines the influences, including the civil rights movements, on artists such as Romare Bearden, Faith Ringgold, Alma Thomas and William T. Williams.

Tickets are $10 for non-members. The exhibition will be up until April 23.
