U.S. drops in world happiness ranking

by The 100 Companies

Where’s the happiest place on Earth? Finland. Denmark comes in at a close second place.

According to the annual World Happiness Report, the U.S. hit an all-time low, dropping to 23rd. It’s even worse for young people. Americans under 30 don’t feel support from family and friends, feel a lack of freedom in making life choices, aren’t happy about living conditions and view government as corrupt.

In a recent interview, Dr. Jeremy Nobel, founder of the Foundation for Art and Healing, says, “It won’t just make you miserable, but loneliness will kill you. And that’s why it’s a crisis.”
