Black history comes alive at UA Little Rock

by The 100 Companies

February is chock full of activities at UA Little Rock to commemorate Black heritage:

Feb. 13 – Celebrate Fat Tuesday (the English translation of “Mardi Gras”), which has deep roots in African American culture, including the “skull gangs” that spread a neighborhood message of peace.

Feb. 21 – Trivia fan? Play the Black History trivia game for a chance to win prizes.

Every Monday in February – For the Black History Month scavenger hunt, a clue will be posted on the Multicultural Center’s Instagram page. Students (or teams) are challenged to locate the answer in the corresponding campus department and submit a photo.
