Arkansas Arts Center’s 57th Annual Young Arkansas Artists Exhibition has grown to be one of the center’s most popular exhibitions. The YAA features more than 600 works created by Arkansas K-12 students.
Members of the Arkansas Art Educators Association select around 125 pieces for the exhibition. A guest juror selects one “Best of Class” and two “Honorable Mentions” for each grade, and each winner’s school receives money to help fund its arts program.
Selections from the exhibition travel to schools throughout the state as part of the Arkansas Arts Center’s statewide ArtsReach program. Artwork is displayed through July 22.
